The accomplishment puts him into the Dodgers history books along with three other players in team history who have hit a homer in 5 straight games in a single season during the modern era. Pederson joins Matt Kemp (2010), Shawn Green (2001) and Roy Campanella (1950) according to the Elias Sports Bureau.

Pederson now has 17 home runs and 32 RBIs in 53 games. He entered Wednesday action with a .260/.383/.588 slash and 31 runs scored.

In case you missed it, Pederson also hit the longest home run this season against the Rockies.
