One of the most prolific goal-scorers in MLS history is out of work.

Bradley Wright-Phillips' celebrated seven-year spell with the New York Red Bulls is over after the club confirmed Wednesday the 34-year-old striker's contract won't be renewed.

After joining the three-time Supporters' Shield winners in 2013 from Charlton Athletic, Wright-Phillips recorded a franchise-best 108 regular-season goals. A former England youth international, Wright-Phillips has won two Golden Boot awards in MLS. He was also twice named to the Best XI and made two All-Star teams.

"Brad will go down as one of the best forwards in MLS history, and certainly a major part of the success of this club since he arrived in 2013," said Red Bulls sporting director Denis Hamlett. "Brad had an incredible run with this club and will be remembered here as a great player, teammate, and person, and we thank him for all that he has accomplished and helped the club accomplish."

Wright-Phillips also became the first player in MLS history to score 20-plus goals in three or more seasons, and he sits eighth on the league's all-time scoring list. Last season was Wright-Phillips' least-productive with the club, registering one goal and an assist in just seven matches played.

Wright-Phillips departing wasn't the only significant squad update from New York on Wednesday. Long-serving shot-stopper Luis Robles was one of six players whose options weren't exercised.

Robles ranks sixth in league history with 114 wins and eighth in clean sheets with 72. The 35-year-old thrice-capped U.S. international owns the league's Ironman streak with 183 consecutive complete games, and he nabbed MLS Goalkeeper of the Year honors in 2015

Following Connor Lade's retirement and today's news about Robles and Wright-Phillips, there are no players remaining on the Red Bulls' roster from the team's 2013 Supporters' Shield season.
