Dillashaw threatens Johnson with Instagram of snake devouring mouse

Even without a fight officially booked, T.J. Dillashaw is already shifting his focus toward Demetrious Johnson.

Dillashaw was supposed to fight bantamweight champion Cody Garbrandt at UFC 213 in July, but with that bout scrapped due to issues with Garbrandt's back, it appears Dillashaw will instead drop down and challenge for the flyweight title.

On Saturday, Dillashaw posted a picture on Instagram depicting a black mamba devouring a rodent, an obvious reference to Johnson's nickname, "Mighty Mouse":

The snake is in reference to Conor McGregor calling Dillashaw a "snake in the grass," predicting the latter would depart his then-training camp, Team Alpha Male. Dillashaw would eventually be involved in an ugly split with his camp, but has since gone on to embrace the moniker.

Johnson has not agreed to fight Dillashaw, and it remains to be seen if these taunts will have any impact on his decision.
