Stefan Struve picked on someone his own size, and the UFC gave him his wish.

At a Q&A in Stockholm, Sweden on Saturday, the promotion officially announced a headlining heavyweight bout between the 7-foot Struve and the 6-foot-7 Alexander Volkov for a UFC Fight Night card in Rotterdam, Netherlands on Sept. 2.

The two giants had previously agreed to a clash on Twitter.

Struve has won three of his past four fights, submitting Daniel Omielanczuk and knocking out Antonio "Bigfoot" Silva in his two most recent outings. The 29-year-old Dutchman has a 12-6 record in the UFC and owns a 2012 win over current heavyweight king Stipe Miocic.

"I already beat Stipe Miocic, I need one or two wins and I feel I can beat him again," Struve said at the Q&A shortly after the Volkov fight was announced.

A former Bellator champion, Volkov is 2-0 in the UFC, with decision wins over Roy Nelson and Timothy Johnson. Volkov has won four straight and holds a 28-6 professional record overall.
