UFC light heavyweight contender Jimi Manuwa predicts that he and former World Boxing Association heavyweight champion David Haye will be fighting soon.

"David Haye is ready (in) December, or January early next year, so I'm going to have a couple more fights (before that)," Manuwa said Saturday a Q&A in Stockholm, Sweden. "(UFC president) Dana White, David Haye, and myself are interested in that fight.

"So it's in the works and everything. There's a big, big chance we're going to have that in London at The O2 (Arena)."

In recent months, Manuwa has been making overtures to fight Haye, angling for a lucrative matchup while he waits for the UFC light heavyweight championship picture to clear up. "Poster Boy" has 15 knockouts in 19 fights, so it's understandable that he has no fear of potentially facing Haye in a boxing match.

Haye and Manuwa are both based in London, making it a logical destination for their prospective bout.
