Watch: Fighter scores comeback win with brutal knees at ONE event

Zebaztian Kadestam had to pull a page out of the PRIDE FC playbook to pick up the W on Friday.

After being dominated on the mat for over two rounds by a fighter with six times his experience in Luis Santos, the welterweight sprawled on an ill-advised takedown attempt, worked his way into side control, and proceeded to lay the hammer down on Santos for the comeback stoppage victory 2:18 into Round 3 at ONE Championship 55 in Singapore.

Kadestam left Santos lifeless with two nasty knees to the head, which are illegal under the unified rules of MMA. But luckily for the Swede, ONE operates under a modified set of rules, making his coup de grace perfectly kosher.

The knockout improved Kadestam's record to 9-3 and snapped Santos' nine-fight win streak.
