Headliners Cerrone, Till make weight for UFC Gdansk

Bill Streicher / USA TODAY Sports

Strap in for some fun, because Donald Cerrone versus Darren Till is a go after the two made weight Friday for their headlining welterweight bout at Saturday's UFC Fight Night 118.

Both men hit 170 pounds on the dot, green-lighting what should be a standout fight between two no-nonsense brawlers.

The weigh-ins for the event at the Ergo Arena in Gdansk, Poland, didn't go exactly to plan, however, as Sam Alvey missed weight after taking a middleweight bout against Ramazan Emeev on short notice.

The bout will continue as planned, but Alvey has been fined 20 percent of his purse for coming in at 189 pounds.
