Carlos Felipe's UFC career was put on ice before it got started.

The heavyweight has accepted a two-year suspension, sanctioned by the USADA, after being flagged for an out-of-competition sample collected on July 29, the UFC's anti-doping partner announced on Friday.

The Brazilian's ban is retroactive to Sep. 19 - the day he was popped and provisionally suspended.

Felipe tested positive for metabolites of stanozolol - an anabolic steroid - and was pulled from what would have marked his promotional debut against Christian Colombo at next Saturday's UFC Fight Night 119 as a result. He's since been replaced by Marcelo Golm.
