Dana White nearly got into a boxing ring with Tito Ortiz in 2007, and he has no doubt he would've come away victorious had they followed through with the match.

In an interview for FOX News' "OBJECTified" that will air Sunday, the UFC president (and Ortiz's former manager) told TMZ founder Harvey Levin he spent "serious time" training for the bout and "was absolutely gonna do it" before Ortiz bailed.

The Nevada State Athletic Commission voted 3-1 to allow the exhibition match, with boxing referee Jay Nady assigned to officiate. The match was canceled after Ortiz failed to show up for weigh-ins.
