Horiguchi takes Caldwell's bantamweight title at Bellator 222

Make it two in a row for Kyoji Horiguchi in title fights versus Darrion Caldwell.

Horiguchi won the Bellator bantamweight title fight Friday night at New York's Madison Square Garden via unanimous decision. The win comes just months after the inaugural Rizin bantamweight title fight on Dec. 31 in which Horiguchi won via third-round guillotine choke.

The Japanese flyweight has now handed his American opponent two out of his three professional losses.

Horiguchi moves to 28-2 while Caldwell's record drops to 13-3.
