Dan Hooker picked up his second straight victory with a one-sided decision win over Al Iaquinta on Saturday night in the UFC 243 co-main event.

Hooker (19-8) found success in the opening round with leg kicks, and he pushed the pace in the early going. The second round featured much of the same, with Hooker's kicks hurting Iaquinta, who struggled with his opponent's height and reach advantage. The judges awarded the City Kickboxing product a unanimous decision on scores of 30-27 across the board.

Iaquinta (14-6-1) suffered back-to-back losses for the first time in his career while also dropping to 1-3 in his last four fights. It's been a tough year for the Serra-Longo pupil who ended 2018 with an impressive victory over former title challenger Kevin Lee. Iaquinta is now winless this year.

Following Saturday's victory, Hooker called out former interim lightweight champion Dustin Poirier as his next opponent. Poirier is coming off a submission loss to lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov last month at UFC 242.
