White says UFC working with Adam Sandler on comedy show
The UFC is teaming up with Adam Sandler on a new project.
While appearing on Wednesday's episode of "The Pat McAfee Show," UFC president Dana White revealed plans for a behind-the-scenes documentary about the company as well as a comedy series with Sandler.
"We're working on (the documentary). We're also working on a show right now with Adam Sandler that's a comedy about working in the offices of the UFC," White said.
This won't be Sandler's first foray into the world of MMA. The 56-year-old's company, Happy Madison Productions, helped produce the 2012 comedy film "Here Comes the Boom," which stars Kevin James as a biology teacher who becomes an MMA fighter to save his school's music program.
White didn't share a release date for the documentary or the comedy series.
