Celtics' Morris hopes Irving goes to any team ... except Warriors

Someone had to say it.

Cleveland Cavaliers star Kyrie Irving reportedly requested a trade, despite featuring on the best team in the Eastern Conference and making three straight trips to the NBA Finals.

Boston Celtics power forward Marcus Morris doesn't care which club Irving latches on with, as long as it isn't the Golden State Warriors.

The Warriors boasted an All-Star trio of Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green, and won an NBA record 73 regular-season games in 2015-16. They added one of the best players in the game in Kevin Durant last summer, and captured a championship this past postseason after defeating Irving's Cavaliers in five games.

Suffice it to say, they don't need any more stars. And luckily - at least for everyone crying about parity - they're not in the running for Irving's services.

The All-Star point guard has reportedly listed his preferred trade destinations as the San Antonio Spurs, Minnesota Timberwolves, New York Knicks, and Miami Heat.
