If you're going to attempt to profit off of someone else's name, be sure to do your research ahead of time.

Now that he's a member of the Golden State Warriors, rookie Jordan Bell's stock has soared, so much so that some sites are trying to make a buck off of his college uniforms.

A game-worn No. 5 jersey from his days at Oregon is being made available for $150, along with a certificate of authenticity.

Too bad Bell never wore that number with the Ducks.

The 22-year-old jokingly gave the site credit for trying, even though they failed miserably.
