The Orlando Magic will not hold their annual summer league in 2018, team president Jeff Weltman told the Orlando Sentinel's Josh Robbins. The move comes as the NBA aims to increase the profile of the Las Vegas Summer League.

"The pendulum is swinging toward teams playing in Vegas," Weltman said Saturday.

The Magic began hosting their own smaller summer tournament in 2002. Unlike Vegas and Salt Lake City, Orlando's league was not open to the public, and games were played on the team's practice court.
