Mbah a Moute records absurd plus-57 in Rockets' rout
Erik Williams / USA TODAY Sports
Despite deploying one of the strongest backcourts in the league, it was Luc Richard Mbah a Moute who had the most positive impact for the Houston Rockets on Wednesday.
As Houston dominated the Denver Nuggets in a 125-95 blowout win, Mbah a Moute, who played 26 minutes off the bench, finished with a game-high plus-57 differential.
That mark is now the highest since at least 2001, overtaking former Minnesota Timberwolves forward Joe Smith, who finished plus-52 in a 127-74 win over the Chicago Bulls that year.

Meanwhile, the Nuggets seemed to take Mbah a Moute's career night in stride: they used their time to teach fans how to bake the perfect Thanksgiving pumpkin pie.
