Troy Taormina / USA TODAY Sports

Cleveland Cavaliers forward LeBron James and Houston Rockets guard James Harden have earned Player of the Month honors in the Eastern and Western Conference, respectively, for October and November.

Over 22 games to begin the season, James is averaging 28 points, 8.5 assists, and 8.2 rebounds, while shooting 42.5 percent from 3-point range (58.3 percent from the field).

Through his first 21 games, Harden is contributing league-best marks in scoring (31.5 points) and assists (9.8). He's also pulling down 5.2 rebounds per contest.

It's the 35th Player of the Month award for James, while Harden has been awarded the accolade on five occasions, one short of tying Hakeem Olajuwon for the Rockets' record.
