Watch: Jimmy Butler sings while hanging onto tree for dear life
Jimmy Butler was looking to simply find himself. Instead, he found himself in a hairy situation.
On an offseason journey of self-discovery, the Minnesota Timberwolves swingman shared a photo on Instagram of him hiking in Vancouver on Saturday.
What he didn't show was him clinging to a tree for dear life because he's afraid of heights and didn't want to go down the mountain. He poked fun at himself by singing a made-up song about his predicament and, luckily, fans were there to capture the moment.

In case you'd like to sing along, here are the lyrics:
To leave this damn tree
Can't believe that y'all left me
You're not really true friends
'Til the very end
A supporter also recorded a video in which she asked Butler for Toronto Raptors shooting guard Delon Wright's phone number. The four-time All-Star said he doesn't have it, but he can get it.
"I'm a man of the people. Whatever you need, I got you," he told her.
All of this just confirms what we already knew: When Butler partakes in outdoor activities, hilarity ensues.
