Report: Rockets, Caboclo agree to Exhibit 10 deal

Bruno Caboclo was two years away from being two years away from possibly landing a two-way contract.

The 20th overall selection of the 2014 NBA Draft has reportedly reached an agreement with the Houston Rockets on an Exhibit 10 contract, league sources told ESPN's Chris Haynes.

Exhibit 10s are attachments to standard contracts for one season at the minimum salary, which allow teams to later convert the deal to a two-way contract.

Billed as the "Brazilian Kevin Durant" upon entering the league by ESPN's Fran Fraschilla, the long-armed Caboclo has failed to show any semblance of being a day-to-day NBA player since then. He's played a grand total of 213 minutes over 35 games with both the Toronto Raptors and Sacramento Kings, averaging 1.5 points and a rebound.

The 22-year-old has spent a majority of his time down in the G-League, where he contributed 14.4 points, 6.5 boards, 1.3 steals, and 1.6 rejections in 2017-18 with Raptors 905 before being dealt to Sacramento at the trade deadline.
