Brandon Ingram is owning up to his role in the fight that led to suspensions for himself, his Los Angeles Lakers teammate Rajon Rondo, and Houston Rockets point guard Chris Paul.

"It's my full responsibility," Ingram said Monday, according to The Athletic's Bill Oram. "I think I'm the one that caused the action and I'm going to take full responsibility for every action that I did."

Ingram received a four-game suspension for what the league described as, "Aggressively returning to and escalating the altercation and throwing a punch in the direction of Paul, confronting a game official in a hostile manner, and instigating the overall incident by shoving Rockets guard James Harden."

The third-year forward was surprised his suspension was only four games, according to Oram.

Rondo, who received a three-game suspension for the incident, took a different approach to the matter.

"It's best for me not to talk about the situation. It is what it is," he said.
