The New York Knicks have long been linked to Kevin Durant as a potential destination once the 30-year-old forward enters free agency this summer.

The current Golden State Warriors superstar is unsure of where rumors linking him to the Big Apple originated, but he isn't overly concerned with them.

"I have no clue where that stuff comes from," Durant said Tuesday afternoon, according to the New York Daily News' Stefan Bondy. "I just focus on playing ball every single day. I can't control what people say about me or what they say about my future or what I should do but I just try to come to work every single day and life will figure itself out from here."

The defending NBA champions are hosting the Knicks at Oracle Arena on Tuesday night, so questions about free agency were bound to pop up.

"I just got to do it," Durant said about answering a number of Knicks-related questions, according to the New York Post's Marc Berman. "You guys asked for me, I got to talk. The Knicks are reportedly all-in on bringing Durant aboard, with many executives around the Association of the mindset that the nine-time All-Star will, in fact, leave the Bay Area and take his talents to New York.

Billboards went up outside of Madison Square Garden featuring Durant holding the Larry O'Brien trophy next to Kristaps Porzingis at the start of the season. Durant said he was "not really impressed" with the recruitment attempt, though.
