The Washington Wizards capped the NBA London Game 2019 in bizarre fashion Thursday, with Thomas Bryant being credited with the go-ahead bucket after New York Knicks rookie Allonzo Trier was called for defensive goaltending.

With 0.4 seconds on the clock after the defensive misplay, the Knicks failed to retake the lead as Emmanuel Mudiay's last-ditch 20-foot shot missed its mark.

Bradley Beal endeared himself to those in attendance at O2 Arena, setting the tone for Washington with 26 points, nine rebounds, and four assists in a game-high 40 minutes.

Improving to 19-26, the Wizards now sit two games behind the eighth-seeded Charlotte Hornets for the Eastern Conference's final playoff berth.
