The Carmelo Anthony trade is official.

The Chicago Bulls and Houston Rockets announced on Tuesday that they've completed a deal that will send Anthony, the rights to Jon Diebler, and cash considerations to Chicago in exchange for the rights to Tadija Dragicevic.

Chicago is reportedly expected to waive Anthony, after which he will become an unrestricted free agent.

The cash considerations from Houston to Chicago total $1.56 million, sources told The Athletic's Shams Charania. The deal couldn't become official until Tuesday because the NBA office was closed Monday for Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

Diebler was selected in the second round by the Portland Trail Blazers in 2011. Dragicevic was a second-round selection of the Utah Jazz in 2008. Both currently play in Europe and have never suited up in the NBA.

The Los Angeles Lakers are reportedly interested in Anthony's services.
