Brooklyn Nets swingman Caris LeVert will return to five-on-five practices in the near future and there's optimism he'll return to the team's lineup before the All-Star break, league sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

The Nets' last game before the break is Feb. 13 against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

LeVert suffered a gruesome injury in mid-November while attempting a block. However, while he dislocated his right foot and suffered moderate ligament damage, there were no fractures and he didn't have to undergo surgery.

Before going down, LeVert was in the midst of a breakout campaign, averaging 18.4 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 3.7 assists per game. He posted more than 25 points on four occasions despite playing in just 14 contests.

The Nets currently sit in sixth in the Eastern Conference with a 28-26 record.
