Kobe Bryant is more than just an investor in BodyArmor. He's also directing commercials for the sports drink company.

BodyArmor's latest spot, which debuted on Wednesday, pokes fun at competitor Gatorade and shows NBA stars James Harden and Donovan Mitchell using outdated technology to fill out their March Madness brackets.

"The commercial was really funny," Mitchell told Ryan Miller of KSL.com. "Shout out to Kobe. I think he's putting as much effort as he did into studying the game as he is into film and his life off the court. So it's really special to see the dedication and passion behind it."

In March 2014, Bryant invested $6 million in BodyArmor for 10 percent of the company. By August 2018, his stake was worth an estimated $200 million.
