Rockets center Clint Capela has been playing through two respiratory illnesses during the postseason, including his forgettable performance during Houston's 107-91 Game 4 loss to the Utah Jazz on Monday, the big man told ESPN's Tim MacMahon.

Capela - who missed a practice due to illness prior to the playoffs - said he visited a Salt Lake City doctor Sunday and was diagnosed with adenovirus and a klebsiella infection, according to MacMahon. He also said he was given a full recovery period of four-to-five days.

"It's tough, man," Capela said. "Especially when I try to breathe, it's hard. I'm just going to fight it the best that I can."

The Rockets center was held to four points on 1-of-6 shooting from the field, including 2-of-6 from the charity stripe, during Monday's contest. He also struggled on the defensive end, posting a game-worst minus-20 rating.

Capela had a breakthrough season for Houston, averaging career highs in points (16.6) and boards (12.7) across 67 regular-season appearances. However, his scoring has dipped in the postseason to 9.5 points per game.

The Rockets can close out their first-round series against the Jazz on Wednesday when the series shifts to the Toyota Center for Game 5.
