Utah Jazz star Donovan Mitchell is handing out assists both on and off the court.

The second-year guard was among a few people on the scene to assist those involved in a car accident he witnessed on Sunday following Jazz practice.

"I was driving by, a lady was falling out of her car, the airbags went off, she was grabbing her chest and I was like, 'Oh shoot,' Mitchell told Andy Larsen of The Salt Lake Tribune. "Like a natural instinct to found out what happened.

"I was just going out there to make sure she was okay. I don’t want to make it like a big, big deal."

Mitchell called 911 to report the two-car crash and waited for emergency personnel to arrive on the scene. Fortunately, nobody was seriously injured.

The 22-year-old scored a game-high 31 points on Monday - including 19 in the fourth quarter - to force a Game 5 in Utah's first-round series against the Houston Rockets.
