Washington Wizards veteran wing C.J. Miles is set to undergo surgery to repair a stress fracture in his left foot, the club announced Thursday.

An update on Miles' recovery will be issued in roughly six weeks.

Miles averaged 6.4 points and 1.8 rebounds per game while shooting 33 percent from beyond the 3-point arc during a 2018-19 season split between the Toronto Raptors and Memphis Grizzlies.

The Wizards acquired the 32-year-old swingman from Memphis in exchange for Dwight Howard.
