Utah Jazz center Ed Davis will be re-evaluated in four weeks after fracturing his left fibula in Friday's loss to the Sacramento Kings, the team announced Saturday.

The veteran big man joined the Jazz this summer on a two-year, $10-million deal.

Davis averaged 1.7 points and 5.2 boards across six appearances for Utah.

The 30-year-old has been a consistent contributor on the glass throughout his nine-year NBA career, finishing four seasons within the league's top 20 in total offensive rebounds and total rebound percentage.

Tony Bradley and Georges Niang will likely serve as Rudy Gobert's backup during Davis' absence.
