The Memphis Grizzlies inked swingman Dillon Brooks to a multi-year extension, the team announced.

Memphis did not specify terms of the extension, but Brooks' new deal is worth $35 million over three years, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

Brooks has solidified a starting role with the Grizzlies in his third NBA season. After missing a majority of 2018-19 due to a torn ligament in his toe, the Canadian is averaging 16.1 points (on 39.9% shooting from three), 3.4 rebounds, and 2.1 assists while starting all 50 of Memphis' games this season.

His new contract is fully guaranteed for all three seasons and will earn Brooks $11.4 million in 2020-21, $12.2 million in 2021-22, and $11.4 million in 2022-23, a source told Chris Herrington of the Daily Memphian.

The 24-year-old was set to become a restricted free agent after the 2020-21 campaign.
