The NBA's last-two-minute report confirmed that Rudy Gobert goaltended on Damian Lillard's potential game-tying layup late in the Utah Jazz's 117-114 win over the Portland Trail Blazers on Friday.

Because no call was made by officials at the time, a challenge by the Blazers was not possible.

NBA officials took the rare step of acknowledging after the game that they missed the call. Still, Lillard and his teammates were apoplectic about the situation.

"We get to the last play of the game, and they miss an easy call," Lillard said. "And then they tell us that's an easy no-call, that was obviously not a goaltend. Cost us a f------ game, man. Cost us a game."

CJ McCollum added that referees should be fined for such transgressions.

"You should be reprimanded, you should be fined accordingly," he said. "When we make mistakes, we're fined."
