Sacramento Kings head coach Luke Walton says he's spoken with Jabari Parker after TMZ Sports published photos of the 25-year-old playing tennis in a Chicago park Saturday, mere days after the forward confirmed he'd tested positive for COVID-19.

“I talked to Jabari about being out in public and kind of reminded him, one, that even though he's been cleared to end his self-isolation, we still can't have anyone who gets sick doing hard physical work until a later date when you’re cleared by doctors,” Walton said Wednesday, according to NBC Sports' James Ham.

While Parker made his test result public June 24 and said he'd received it "several days ago," it's not clear when he was tested.

Walton added that he's reminded players to wear personal protective equipment.

“Him, as well as everyone on our team, has been reminded of the importance of wearing face masks and being socially responsible, not just for ourselves, but for everyone we come in contact with," Walton said.

Parker was acquired along with Alex Len from the Atlanta Hawks at the February trade deadline. The former second overall pick has averaged 14.7 points, 5.9 rebounds, 1.8 assists, and 1.3 steals per game this season.
