Landry Shamet is unlikely to travel with the Los Angeles Clippers to Orlando this week after testing positive for coronavirus, sources told The Athletic's Shams Charania.

The second-year shooting guard has played a key supporting role for the Clippers this year, averaging 27.5 minutes per game across 47 appearances, starting 27 of them. Overall, Shamet has averaged 9.7 points, 1.9 assists, and 1.9 rebounds per game while shooting 39.2% on 3-pointers.

The Clippers' season is set to recommence with a much-anticipated tilt versus the Los Angeles Lakers on July 30 - opening night of the NBA's return at Walt Disney World. The Clippers enter the eight-game seeding phase with a 44-20 record, good for second in the Western Conference and fourth in the league overall.
