Report: Kings request permission to interview 6 candidates for top exec job

The Sacramento Kings have requested permission to interview six candidates for their top basketball operations position, according to The Athletic's Shams Charania and Sam Amick.
Candidates currently employed by other teams reportedly include:
- Calvin Booth, GM, Denver Nuggets
- Sachin Gupta, executive VP, Minnesota Timberwolves
- Trajan Langdon, GM, New Orleans Pelicans
- Monte McNair, GM, Houston Rockets
- Adam Simon, assistant GM, Miami Heat
Wes Wilcox, the former general manager of the Atlanta Hawks, is reportedly also among the candidates.
Former Detroit Pistons Hall of Famer and executive Joe Dumars is currently overseeing the Kings as interim executive vice president of basketball operations following Vlade Divac's resignation in August.
