LeBron James is one win away from securing a fourth NBA championship, but the King isn't worried about how people will remember him once his playing days come to a close.

"I don't think about it (my legacy) much," James said Thursday, according to USA Today's Mark Medina. "It will be told the way it's supposed to be told."

James, who owns a 3-6 series record in the NBA Finals to this point, is well-positioned to add yet another ring to his illustrious resume. The Los Angeles Lakers currently hold a commanding 3-1 series lead over the Miami Heat entering Friday's Game 5.

The Lakers confirmed Wednesday that they'll don their alternate Mamba uniforms for the potential close-out contest in honor of the late Kobe Bryant.

"It means something. It's something more than just a uniform," James said. "It represents an individual who gave the franchise 20 years of his blood, sweat, and tears, and his dedication to his craft both on and off the floor to make that franchise be proud of him."

The Lakers are 4-0 this postseason when wearing the alternate black jerseys. Star big man Anthony Davis believes that if Los Angeles comes out and does what it's "supposed to do," the team will have a solid chance at remaining undefeated.

"We just think that for all the things that happened this season, with our team specifically and our organization, that to be able to close it out in the Black Mamba uniforms will just make it all worth it," Davis said.

Game 5 is scheduled to tip off Friday at 9:00 p.m. ET.
