Mitchell, Gobert fined for publicly criticizing refs after loss to 76ers
The NBA fined Utah Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell and center Rudy Gobert $25,000 and $20,000, respectively, for their public criticism of officials following their loss to the Philadelphia 76ers on Wednesday, the league announced.
Mitchell was also punished for knocking over a water cooler after being ejected for a second technical foul.

Mitchell was ejected with 30.8 seconds remaining in overtime after it appeared that Joel Embiid convinced referees to assess the Jazz star with a second technical. At the time, Utah was down five points to the 76ers but went on to lose 131-123, prompting Mitchell to air his frustrations regarding the officials.
"We just continually get screwed in a way by this," Mitchell said Wednesday. "We won this game, in my personal opinion."
Gobert argued that Utah wasn't being officiated equally to other teams.
"Our guys are not able to get calls everybody else in the f------ league gets," he said, according to ESPN's Tim Bontemps. "We know we are the Utah Jazz, and maybe some people don't want to see us go as far as we can go, but it's disappointing."
