Cleveland Cavaliers rookie Evan Mobley will miss approximately two-to-four weeks with a right elbow sprain, the team announced Tuesday.

Mobley suffered the injury during the third quarter of Cleveland's loss to the Boston Celtics on Monday and didn't return. He underwent an MRI, which confirmed the ailment, on Tuesday.

Drafted third overall by the Cavaliers in July, Mobley has arguably been the league's most impressive first-year player. The USC product is averaging 14.6 points, eight rebounds, 2.5 assists, 1.6 steals, and one block through 15 starts.

With Mobley sidelined, Cleveland is likely to lean on Dean Wade in the short term. Kevin Love and Lauri Markkanen are also currently unavailable after they each entered the league's health and safety protocols earlier this month. However, they're both working on their conditioning and should be back within the next week.
