Phoenix Suns guard Devin Booker is progressing toward a return from his hamstring strain, sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

Booker could reportedly return either in Game 6 or Game 7 of the Suns' first-round series against the New Orleans Pelicans, though the All-Star is initially expected to be listed as out for Game 6. Once he's cleared, Booker is expected to play limited minutes, Wojnarowski notes.

The 25-year-old suffered the strain in Phoenix's Game 2 loss and has sat out the last three contests because of the injury. Without him available, the Suns have gone 2-1 and own a 3-2 series lead heading into Game 6 in New Orleans on Thursday.

Booker is averaging 28 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 3 assists in an abbreviated two-game playoff sample size. He posted 26.8 points, 4.8 assists, and 5 rebounds across 68 regular-season appearances.
