Memphis Grizzlies center Steven Adams will be unavailable for the team's Game 6 tilt against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Friday after entering the league's health and safety protocols.

Adams has slowly been phased out of Memphis' playoff lineup, suiting up for just six total minutes over the previous four games after playing 24 minutes in Game 1.

While Adams' impressive rebounding ability helped him lead the NBA in offensive boards this season, his inability to guard Timberwolves star Karl-Anthony Towns has landed him on the bench in favor of quicker players.

The Grizzlies can advance to the second round with a win over Minnesota on the road.
