The Phoenix Suns were fined $25,000 for failing to disclose star Devin Booker's participation in a timely manner ahead of Thursday's series-clinching win, the league announced.

Booker was listed as out with a hamstring injury until the day before Game 6 of the first round against the New Orleans Pelicans, and was only upgraded to questionable hours ahead of tipoff, according to ESPN's Andrew Lopez.

The All-Star missed three games after leaving Game 2 in the second half after landing awkwardly while contesting a layup attempt. He returned in the Suns' 115-109 win to move them to the second round, scoring 13 points.

Phoenix begins its second-round series against the Dallas Mavericks on Monday.
