Veteran Utah Jazz guard Mike Conley will miss at least the next two weeks after sustaining a left knee strain Saturday, sources told The Athletic's Shams Charania.

Conley reportedly avoided a serious injury and didn't suffer any ligament damage.

The 35-year-old ball-handler was tracking Damian Lillard in the third quarter of Saturday's 118-113 win over the Portland Trail Blazers when his knee appeared to give out underneath him as he went around a screen by Jusuf Nurkic. He stayed on the court holding his left knee before heading to the locker room and was subsequently ruled out for the rest of the game.

"I went to take a step, and for whatever reason, on that step, my leg completely locked out and all my weight went straight back into my knee," Conley told reporters postgame, according to The Salt Lake Tribune's Eric Walden.

"Initially, I didn't know what happened. It probably felt worse at the time than it's gonna turn out to be."

Conley started all 17 games this season for the Western Conference-leading Jazz. He's averaging 10.2 points, 7.9 assists, 2.4 rebounds, and 1.2 steals while shooting 38.6% from deep on 4.9 attempts per contest.
