Wiggins suffers fractured rib, listed as questionable for Game 6 vs. Lakers
Golden State Warriors starter Andrew Wiggins is listed as questionable for the team's do-or-die Game 6 tilt against the Los Angeles Lakers on Friday due to a left costal cartilage fracture.
Golden State hadn't listed Wiggins with any designation prior to Thursday night's injury report. It's unclear how he suffered the rib fracture.
The swingman has been a vital piece to the Warriors' playoff success, averaging 17.6 points and 5.9 rebounds in 34.5 minutes per game this postseason.
Wiggins missed the last 25 contests of the regular season due to personal matters and played a career-low 37 games across the campaign. His 17.1 points per contest was his lowest output since his rookie year.
Should the injury force Wiggins to miss time, the Warriors will search for more productivity from the slumping Jordan Poole, role players Donte DiVincenzo and Gary Payton II, and youngsters Moses Moody and Jonathan Kuminga.
