Though momentum isn't on the side of the Miami Heat, head coach Eric Spoelstra and his team are still aiming to put their best foot forward in a do-or-die Game 7 on Monday night.

Spoelstra told reporters including the Miami Herald's Anthony Chiang that his "guys are looking forward to the challenge" of traveling to Boston to play the Celtics in Game 7 after dropping the last three contests, including Saturday's tilt, in ultra-dramatic fashion.

Miami's 3-0 lead in the series is on the verge of completely dissolving, something that didn't occur the 150 previous times a team jumped out to such an advantage in the NBA playoffs.

"We're making history in any which way," said Heat point guard Gabe Vincent. "Which side of history do we want to be on?"

Overshadowed by the blown lead, should the Heat pull out an upset road win in Game 7, they would become just the second No. 8 seed to ever advance to the NBA Finals. They've already beaten the league-best Milwaukee Bucks and New York Knicks to advance to this point, and they took the experience-laden Celtics to the brink after just three games.

In a playoffs filled with surprising results in Miami, the team feels prepared to put forth an effort against the Celtics.

"If anybody in the league is prepared for (this Game 7), it's our team," Heat guard Max Strus told the Sun Sentinal's Ira Winderman.
