Report: Middleton to make season debut Friday vs. Celtics
Milwaukee Bucks forward Khris Middleton will make his season debut Friday against the Boston Celtics, sources told ESPN's Bobby Marks.
Middleton missed the campaign's first 21 games after undergoing arthroscopic surgery on both ankles during the offseason.
The 33-year-old was medically cleared to return on Nov. 20 but needed time to ramp up physically.
Injuries have hampered Middleton throughout his career. The forward played just 76 regular-season games over the last two seasons, and he hasn't appeared in all 82 contests of a campaign since 2017-18.
Middleton holds career averages of 16.9 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 3.9 assists, shooting 46% from the field and 38.8% from beyond the arc.
Milwaukee has recently turned its season around, winning nine of the last 11 contests. Star Damian Lillard said last week that the "vibes" surrounding the Bucks were high as they continued to compile victories.
The club began the season 2-8 but now sits fifth in the Eastern Conference at 11-10.
