The exodus from Illinois that has transpired since Brad Underwood took over as head coach continued on Thursday, as Jalen Coleman-Lands' father told Evan Daniels of Scout.com that the talented guard will transfer out of the program.

Coleman-Lands' decision makes him the second player to transfer since Underwood's hiring, as D.J. Williams announced he was departing earlier this month. Combined with recruits Jeremiah Tilmon and Javon Pickett asking out of their National Letters of Intent, there are now four players that did not want to stick around after John Groce was fired.

The sophomore standout averaged eight points and 2.3 rebounds in a disappointing second season with the Fighting Illini after bursting onto the scene with impressive numbers in his freshman season. The former four-star recruit scored 10.3 points per contest and connected on 41 percent of his 3-pointers in his first season on campus.

As per NCAA transfer regulations, Coleman-Lands will be required to sit out next season before becoming eligible for the 2018-19 campaign.
