Kentucky forward PJ Washington has been ruled out for the Round of 32 game against the winner of Wofford and Seton Hall, according to CBS Sports' Seth Davis.

Washington missed Kentucky's first-round win Thursday, as he was on the bench with a hard cast on his foot.

The forward was diagnosed with a foot sprain after playing just 20 minutes in the Wildcats' loss to Tennessee in the SEC Tournament semifinals.

Head coach John Calipari offered an update after Thursday's victory, telling reporters the hard cast was used to help Washington recover quickly.

"There was a choice between a boot or a cast," Calipari said, according to ESPN. "They said the cast would be better to help him heal and they can take it off whenever. They can take it off tomorrow to see how he's feeling, but my guess is that he won't play this weekend."

Washington leads Kentucky with 14.8 points and 7.5 rebounds per contest.
