Top-ranked Gonzaga was without two players during Friday's 90-67 win over Auburn at the Fort Myers Tip-Off due to COVID-19 concerns, the school announced.

"Following testing after yesterday's game, two Gonzaga student-athletes are out today per tournament guidelines and COVID-19 protocols," the school stated in a release. "After (the) Florida Department of Health independently conducted its contact-tracing measures, the two individuals are isolating in their hotel rooms, and the medical staffs of all four participating schools deemed today's games can be played."

While the team's release didn't confirm the identity of the players, Shawn Harris, the father of Bulldogs freshman guard Dominick Harris, tweeted that his son needed to quarantine after being in "close proximity" with a player who tested positive.

Neither Harris nor fellow freshman guard Julian Strawther played Friday.

Gonzaga's 2020-21 campaign began with a 102-90 win over No. 6 Kansas on Thursday.
