Michigan head coach Juwan Howard's contract has been extended through the 2025-26 season, the school announced Tuesday.
Howard is in his third year with the program. He's amassed a 44-17 record, including a trip to the Elite Eight last season.
The Wolverines are once again a top team in college basketball this campaign, currently sitting at No. 4 in the AP Poll.
Howard, 48, played his college hoops at Michigan from 1991-94. He was a part of the famous Fab Five team that made it to the national championship game in 1992.
Howard played in 19 NBA seasons, winning two championships with the Miami Heat. He remained with the organization as an assistant before taking his current job at Michigan in 2019.
