Ole Miss' Patterson to miss remainder of season after suffering torn PCL

Ole Miss quarterback Shea Patterson will miss the rest of the season because of a torn PCL, a team spokesman confirmed to Antonio Morales of The Clarion-Ledger.
Patterson injured the knee Saturday against LSU and left the game in the second quarter, but returned with a brace in the second half, according to Andrew Lopez of The Times-Picayune.
It's a huge blow to the Rebels, as the sophomore was enjoying a solid season with 17 touchdowns and more than 2,200 yards passing.
The loss of Patterson certainly won't help Ole Miss rebound from a slide that's seen it drop three of its past four games.
