Report: Alabama's Matt Womack out several weeks with foot injury

Alabama right tackle Matt Womack will miss several weeks after undergoing surgery on a foot he injured for the second time this offseason, reports Matt Zenitz of AL.com.
Womack was sidelined throughout the spring because of the foot issue, causing him to lose a stranglehold on his starting job at right tackle entering training camp.
He started every game for the Crimson Tide last season and is one of four returning starters along the offensive line.
Alabama begins its national title defense Sept. 1 against Louisville.
